перешел на 2.6
посмотрел модуля usb-uhci теперь нет
загрузил uhci-hcd вместо него
мышка на USB заработала (временно ставил), а вот флешка - нет

- вроде говорит, что опознало
а флешку не монтирует:
dimka:[/home/dimka]$ grep flash /etc/fstab

dimka:[/home/dimka]$ mount /mnt/flash
mount: /dev/sda1 is not a valid block device
пробовал поиграться с sda/sdb... но один хфиг...
самое интересное, что cdrecord флешку видит, когда сканирует шину:
