RE: russian fortunes file?
what worked best for me was:
ftp://ftp.asplinux.ru/pub/i386/RPMS.7.3/fortune-russian-mod-1.0-1.0.asp.noar
ch.rpm
(it was the one I could actually download)
for debian just "alien" it.
The only problem with it is that it puts the files into /usr/share/fortune
and fortune program (in Debian at least) only looks at /usr/share/fortunes ,
so I had to copy the files over manually.
