Re: fetchmail daemon
1) Install and configure MTA (sendmail,postfix or any other) for local mail
delivery. This is required !
2) Please do not use root with fetchmail! You can configure a dedicated or your
own user for it (no superuser rights is required!)
3) It is usefull to configure also procmail for filtering or special deliveries
(like every mailing list to its own file)
4) put fetchmail to /etc/ppp/ip-up.d/ so it will startup every time the
connection is established.
