Request to join ruby-team

I'm currently helping package dependencies for pupilfirst[1] and would like to join Debian Ruby Team.
I've requested on Salsa but I read from the wiki that I've to send a mail here if I were to speed up the process.
Hence, requesting you to grant me access to the team for the same.
