Hi! Thank you Christian for this. If we can have the group on salsa renamed to ruby-team, that would be nice. (I am also ok if we keep debian-ruby, also as Antonio said, the debian prefix is a bit redundant). I volunteer to make the repos on alioth read-only, import them to salsa with the script pointed out by Praveen, and fill the map from alioth to salsa to redirect the urls of the repos. Shall I wait that the group gets renamed? I agree that we could use the debian-ruby@l.d.o list for bugs, and deactivate VCS email notifications. Since we will upload all the packages, we can also use this opportunity to: - set debhelper compatibility level to 11 - set VCS-* fields to the new ones on salsa - remove gem2deb dependency minimal version (if there are still such packages) - set Standards-Version to 4.1.3 - use https for watch files using gemwatch. By the way, gemwatch is living on alioth, so it has to be moved. Is there another canonical place to host this kind of group tools? We've had some tracker for transition to gem2deb packaging. We may need some tools of this kind to track the transition to salsa. Cheers, P.S: and Happy new Year Cédric
