Had just a quick look, but the Build-Depends are duplicated:

               ruby-bio (>= 1.4),
               ruby-bio (>= 1.4.3),
               ruby-fixwhich (>= 1.0),
               ruby-fixwhich (>= 1.0.2),
               ruby-threach (>= 0.2),
               ruby-threach (>= 0.2.0),

Whoops, I forgot to push that last commit; fixed in Git.

I pushed some more changes to the Git repo; build now includes a man page and is Lintian clean; builds fine in a pbuilder chroot.

Could you also send in transate, then it can probably go in together
with ruby-crb-blast?

Alas transrate has a non-ruby dependency (salmon) with its own non-ruby dependency (libcereal) which has been languishing in the NEW queue for two months: https://ftp-master.debian.org/new/libcereal_1.1.2-1.html
