Outdated/Old packages

Hi,

I've recently selected two sets of packages that the team maintains:

1) packages that have not been uploaded in a while:
   https://gist.github.com/zeha/0ff1c8b8bd1559835d35

Why are these interesting?
It's likely that, a) there may be a newer upstream version, b) they
don't actually work or have broken/missing gemspecs. In general
these packages tend to be in bad shape and could use a "maintenance"
upload.

2) packages that have no reverse (build) dependency:
   https://gist.github.com/zeha/9a511c3d26e18664cb1dce0af2aa9ac2

Why are these interesting?
Packages that are not applications often have been introduced as a
dependency of something else, but then never get updated or removed
when the depending package loses interest. As such, they also tend
to .. bitrot.

I'd like to request help with a general QA effort, focused on group
1. Having stale packages in sid isn't really good and we'll have a
freeze in November. Please plan your updates :-)

Best,
