Just one comment: you included a patch creating a Rakefile to generate the gemspec with jeweler, together with the gemspec and metadata files. Would it be possible to just add the gemspec file in the debian/ directory and set export DH_RUBY_GEMSPEC=debian/escape.gemspec in debian/rules? Do you have plans to convert also the other packages named in the bug report 677287: libwebapp-ruby, htree, and samidare? Cheers, Cédric
