Absolutely, go ahead! As far as I am concerned you don't need any approval
for this, just go for it!

Sounds awesome! Please post it on the Debian wiki also!

I suppose translations would be placed in someting like

    /Teams/Ruby/Packaging/<locale-name-here>

so create a new sub page to the Packaging page with the locale name .
