Please refrain from using such a harsh and disrespectful tone while
refering to other people's work.  Instead, if you think you can enhance
anything, please send patches; we do like them.

While I disagree that gem2tgz is completely fucked up, it was certainly
not designed to be completely bullet proof and we didn't care enough to
foresee every possible corner case. This thread is, after all, about a
pretty inoffensive corner case.
