Redmine Package Update
I am looking for people to look at my Redmine package and critique it
before I submit it to Debian-Mentors. It's my first Debian and the
very first RoR package that I know of. Please be brutal. :)
I have updated the Redmine package to the latest upstream SVN. I have
also made it easy(ier) to build on your system. Read the
README.source file in the package for step by step instructions.
A couple of points I'm working with right now. I've moved .../public/
and .../config/ to /etc/redmine to better comply with LSB but I'm not
sure that it's proper or necessary. From a Rails standpoint, what
would you do to comply with LSB?
Also I had to modify the dispatch.xxx.example files in order to make
them work with the /etc/redmine directory structure. I initially
tried to use symlinks but RoR did not like them very much so I was
forced to move them. :/
You can get my files in the usual [1] place. And with this version
you should be able to generate a local copy of the .tar.gz file by
reading the DEBIAN.source file.
Thanx!
Richard
