Blocking binary attachments is a feature not a bug. They are usually
~30% bigger than the original file and most subscribers won't have a
choice whether or not to download the file. For example, I'm not a
doc, so I'm not interested in post-doc positions.
Please upload files to a server and send the URL to the list - this
could also let you log response rates more robustly.
