Maybe it helps for me to mention that these source packages in the NEW
queue are renames of existing Debian packages:
- evince-gtk3 (was evince)
- freerdp (was freerdp3)
- meta-gnome (was meta-gnome3)
meta-gnome ships the same binary packages as meta-gnome3.
freerdp also renames the binary packages to remove the extra "3", but
it had to add transitional packages.
evince-gtk3 only builds the evince libraries. This is because an app
can't directly link against both gtk3 and gtk4 and there are apps in
Debian using the evince libraries that aren't yet ready to switch to
gtk4. The evince source package will stay and it will include the
newer gtk4 app and its libraries.
