Dear Maintainer,

freerdp already implemented rdpecam channel support which allows redirecting
a camera in rdp session without using low level USB redirection.

See: https://github.com/FreeRDP/FreeRDP/pull/10258

To enable it, these additional config / cmake settings are needed:

-DCHANNEL_RDPECAM_CLIENT=ON
-DCHANNEL_RDPECAM=ON

It also needs a build dependency on libv4l-dev and runtime dependency on
libv4l2rds0t64.

Please add that to allow redirecting a camera using this method.

This is fixed by 3.12.0+dfsg-1 upload:

  * d/rules,d/control: enable VAAPI_H264_ENCODING and CHANNEL_RDPECAM
    on linux (libv4l)

Thanks,

/mjt
