Bug#983843: 0.9.16 contains the related fixes
Hi,
I wanted to ping on this bug to let you know that 0.9.16 was tagged on
30th of April and among other things it contains the fixes for this on
s390x and ppc64el:

So I think either backporting these two for now (since we are in
freeze) or going to 0.9.16 (maybe later on) should resolve this issue.
