Dear Maintainer,

 

   * What led up to the situation?

 

   I installed the package remmina-plugin-rdp but plugin does not show up in remmina

 

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or

     ineffective)?

 

   aptitude install remmina-plugin-rdp

 

   * What was the outcome of this action?

 

   Remmina works but i get messages when starting remmina that

   /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/remmina/plugins/remmina-plugin-rdp.so cant

   find libavutil55 and libavcodec57

 

   * What outcome did you expect instead?

 

   No error messages and a working plugin

 

Required packages are contained in oldstable (Stretch). Installing them

resolved the problem.

Weird. I've tested the installation of remmina and freerdp2 in a clean
buster VM and it works just fine, no errors at all. And I can connect to
a Windows 10 machine via RDP without problems.

There's probably wrong with your setup since freerdp2 dependencies are
correct and they're in buster as well, not in stretch.

Following the considerations above, I'm closing the bug report.

But feel free to test on a clean environment and come back if the issue
persists.
