I think I could argue that if it works only against Windows, it’s
either RC or xfreerdp would need to be moved from main to contrib ☻
but let’s not get there, I believe you when you say you’re also
interested in fixing it; I’ve not got a Windows to test against at
the moment.

Both buster…

xorgxrdp        1:0.2.9-1
xrdp    0.9.9-1

… and sid…

xorgxrdp        1:0.2.12-1
xrdp    0.9.12-1

… fail in the same manner. I normally use rdesktop, but I
wanted microphone redirection, so I tried xfreerdp.
