Dear Stable Release Managers,

I would like to request a stable update for debos in Debian 13 (trixie).

[ Reason ]
debos fails at runtime on Debian trixie when building images that
require DNS resolution because systemd-resolved is no longer guaranteed
to be installed by default. debos relies on systemd-resolved, but this
dependency is not declared in debian/control.

The issue affects the version in stable (1.1.5-1) and is tracked as
Debian bug #1115880. This is not a regression within stable itself, but
a packaging issue exposed by changes in the default system configuration
in trixie.

[ Impact ]
If this update is not approved, users of debos in stable may encounter
image build failures due to broken DNS resolution when systemd-resolved
is not installed. This makes debos unusable for most users.

[ Tests ]
The issue can be reproduced by installing debos on a minimal trixie
system without systemd-resolved installed and running a debos build.
DNS resolution fails during the build.

After applying the proposed change and reinstalling debos, the same
build completes successfully with working DNS resolution.

[ Risks ]
Low. The change only adds a runtime dependency for functionality that
debos already expects to be present. No other behaviour is modified and
the change is limited to debian/control.

[ Checklist ]
[x] *all* changes are documented in the d/changelog
[x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[x] attach debdiff against the package in (old)stable
[x] the issue is verified as fixed in unstable

[ Changes ]
* d/control: add systemd-resolved to Depends (Closes: #1115880)

[ Other info ]
The proposed fix is minimal as it simply adds a package to the
runtime dependencies.

Cheers!

Christopher Obbard
