[ Reason ]
Fixes login for GNOME Classic on Xorg and other sessions

[ Impact ]
I haven't analyzed which Debian supplied xsessions were broken by the
bug. The original Debian bug said that this bug also broke
herbstluftwm

According to https://bugs.debian.org/1112586, GNOME Classic on Xorg
was broken in Trixie since October 2024.

Perhaps herbstluftwm was broken since xorg 1:7.7+23 which was included
in Debian 12.

[ Tests ]
I built this package on trixie and installed it on Debian 13. I
successfully completed my test case from
https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1094494#25

[ Risks ]
One line change that has been in Debian Testing for 2 months.

[ Checklist ]
[✔️] all changes are documented in the d/changelog
[✔️] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[✔️] attach debdiff against the package in stable
[✔️] the issue is verified as fixed in unstable

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
