Hi,

Following the upload of libzen 0.4.41-4 to resolve the FTBFS on ppc64el[1],
there has been an autopkgtest regression of libmediainfo in ppc64el[2] due
to symbols going missing:

     69s /usr/bin/ld: /usr/lib/gcc/powerpc64le-linux-gnu/15/../../../powerpc64le-linux-gnu/libmediainfo.so: undefined reference to `ZenLib::Ztring::From_Number(__float128, unsigned char, ZenLib::ztring_t)'
69s collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
     69s make[1]: *** [Makefile:568: mil_analyze] Error 1
     69s make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/autopkgtest-lxc.mhoipc35/downtmp/autopkgtest_tmp/Project/GNU/Library/test'
     69s make: *** [Makefile:1076: check-am] Error 2
     69s autopkgtest [04:22:04]: test mil-test: -----------------------]
    ▸ test mil-test: test results

This should be resolved with a rebuild of libmediainfo against
the libzen 0.4.41-4, so please rebuild libmediainfo 25.09+dfsg-1 against
libzen 0.4.41-4 in ppc64el.

This sounds like an RC bug in libzen if it broke the ABI by dropping a
public symbol. If so, it should reintroduce it, bump the SONAME, or at the
very least, add breaks to affected packages.

This is caused by ppc64el breaking ABI in forky (ask Graham if you
need more information):
https://lists.debian.org/debian-powerpc/2025/08/msg00003.html

I'll defer this to Graham then.

Cheers,
Emilio
