Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: bamtools@packages.debian.org, domibel@debian.org Control: affects -1 + src:bamtools User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition Hi, I uploaded bamtools 2.5.3 to unstable, but I didn’t realize that some packages depend on it. I would like to request a transition for bamtools to coordinate rebuilds of reverse dependencies. Ben file: title = "bamtools"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libbamtools2.5.2" | .depends ~ "libbamtools2.5.3"; is_good = .depends ~ "libbamtools2.5.3"; is_bad = .depends ~ "libbamtools2.5.2"; Thanks -Dominique

I would like to request a transition for bamtools to coordinate rebuilds of reverse dependencies. It would have been nice if you had specified whether the reverse dependencies build fine against the bamtools 2.5.3. See the wiki page [1] for the transition workflow. Since I don't want to waste time and the transition is small and there are basically no conflicts, I just went ahead and scheduled the rebuilds. Let's see how that goes. And it migrated. Closing. Emilio
