Package: release.debian.org Control: affects -1 + src:flint X-Debbugs-Cc: flint@packages.debian.org User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition X-Debbugs-Cc: dtorrance@piedmont.edu Severity: normal Hello! I would like to request a transition slot for flint, which just had a soversion bump from 19 -> 21 with the recent upload of version 3.3.1-1~exp1 to experimental. It has the following reverse dependencies: macaulay2 msolve e-antic gyoto normaliz singular polymake I tested each of the builds locally, and all were successful except for singular, so binNMUs should be mostly sufficient. For singular, simple patches to fix the build are already available in the upstream git repository [1, 2] and should be straightforward to backport for a new source upload. The auto-generated transition tracker [3] looks correct. Do you have a fix for that ready?Yes, there's a patch in Salsa ready to go for the next upload: https://salsa.debian.org/math-team/flint/-/blob/0447f70/debian/patches/builtin-overflow.patchIt has the following reverse dependencies: macaulay2 msolve e-antic gyoto normaliz singular polymake I tested each of the builds locally, and all were successful except for singular, so binNMUs should be mostly sufficient. Cheers, Emilio
