[ Reason ]
New bugfix release

[ Impact ]
New bugfix release in the stable 1.7.x series (corresponds with GNOME 48.x)
- Details at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libadwaita/-/blob/1.7.6/NEWS
and in debian/changelog in the debdiff

[ Tests ]
I built this package on trixie and installed it on Debian 13. I
successfully completed the test cases from
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopTeam/TestPlans/Libadwaita

I also ran the Files (nautilus), Settings (gnome-control-center) and
Text Editor (gnome-text-editor) apps which are pre-installed in Debian
GNOME and use lots of libadwaita features. The apps seemed to work
normally.

[ Risks ]
Many of the default Debian GNOME desktop apps use libadwaita.
libadwaita also powers the file chooser dialog used by
xdg-desktop-portal-gnome which is used on the GNOME desktop for web
browsers like Debian's Firefox ESR and for Flatpak and Snap versions
of popular web browsers. Therefore, a serious enough regression could
severely break the desktop.

The risk has been mitigated by testing that the packages work on
Debian 13. libadwaita 1.7.6 has been in Unstable for more than 2 weeks
and in Testing for 1 week without any regression reports. libadwaita
1.7.x is a stable series and its targeted bug fixes are used by many
other GNOME 48 distros.

[ Other Info ]
The libadwaita developers are likely to provide future 1.7.x bugfix
releases until April 2026 based on previous history and based on the
12-13 month lifetime of GNOME 48. (Many GNOME components do not
provide bugfix releases for that long.)

[ Checklist ]
[✔️] all changes are documented in the d/changelog
[✔️] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[✔️] attach debdiff against the package in stable
[✔️] the issue is verified as fixed in unstable

Thank you,
Jeremy Bícha
