Simon is concerned that some gobject-introspection language bindings
generators have not yet been updated to handle gir files that are
installed to architecture-dependent directories. (Simon worked to get
this behavior change done in gobject-introspection upstream and in
Debian during the trixie development cycle and most generators have
been updated for it.)

Specifically, these are the affected generators we know about:
