Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: qrca@packages.debian.org, Debian Qt/KDE Maintainers <debian-qt-kde@lists.debian.org> Control: affects -1 + src:qrca User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock Dear Release Team, I’d like to request a freeze exception to let KDE’s QR and barcode scanner Qrca [1] migrate to trixie. It’s a new package currently only sitting in unstable. [ Reason ] With trixie we have plasma-mobile in great shape people actively using it [2] so it would be useful to have a readily available QR code scanner in this environment. [ Impact ] No integrated QR code scanner for plasma mobile. There’s an alternative with gnome-decoder currently in trixie but that relies on the gnome / gtk stack so it’s not ideal to have to pull that for mobile devices. [ Risks ] New leaf package, there’s no risk that I can see. [1] https://apps.kde.org/qrca/ [2] https://qa.debian.org/popcon.php?package=plasma-mobile unblock qrca/25.04.0-2

I don't consider this is a good enough reason for an exception at this stage.PaulAttachment: OpenPGP_signature.asc
