Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: gst-plugins-bad1.0-contrib@packages.debian.org Control: affects -1 + src:gst-plugins-bad1.0-contrib User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock Please unblock package gst-plugins-bad1.0-contrib Dear release team, [ Reason ] GStreamer 1.26.1 was released on 2023-04-25, and the relevant packages were uploaded to unstable and have since migrated to testing. A relatively minor package was missed in the initial upload (gstreamer1.0-fdkaac). I was attended to this due to an NMU upload with a re-compile for the t64 transition. The version that is currently in testing is 1.20.0-1.1 and is from a code base that is over 3 years old and does not match the code base from the other GStreamer packages. Because of a GPG problem to grant me upload rights for this package, the package was not uploaded to unstable in time. [ Impact ] Mix of GStreamer releases in trixie, reduced aac support. [ Risks ] None that I am aware of The debdiff is not attached because this is a request for uploading of a single library that is uploaded to contrib, while the bulk of the libraries from that code base are in the regular gst-plugins-bad1.0 packages in main. [ Checklist ] [X] all changes are documented in the d/changelog [X] I reviewed all changes and I approve them [ ] attach debdiff against the package in testing unblock gst-plugins-bad1.0-contrib/1.26.1-1
