Package: release.debian.org
Severity: normal
X-Debbugs-Cc: seadrive-fuse@packages.debian.org, seadrive-gui@packages.debian.org, chrism@debian.org, team+seafile@tracker.debian.org
Control: affects -1 + src:seadrive-fuse src:seadrive-gui
User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org
Usertags: unblock
Please unblock packages seadrive-fuse and seadrive-gui
[ Reason ]
Due to some delay in the NEW queue (no judgement there!), the
upload did not happen in time before the freeze, so I kindly
request that the packages be allowed to migrate to testing before
the trixie release.
[ Impact ]
The functionality provided by the packages (transparent access
to cloud storage without having to sync the whole libraries) is
regularily requested by users (not in the Debian BTS though).
[ Tests ]
Me and some colleagues (including chrism@debian.org) have
successfully been using the packages for some months, when
I started to package the current major version 3.
[ Risks ]
I don't see any risks, since these are (just) leaf packages for
end user (desktop) usage.
[ Checklist ]
[x] all changes are documented in the d/changelog
[x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them
[n/a] attach debdiff against the package in testing
unblock seadrive-fuse/3.0.13-2
unblock seadrive-gui/3.0.13+ds1-1

Even without the delay from NEW, the packages would not have made it in
time for trixie. Also, they are completly NEW leaf packages. Both look
like candidates for trixie-backports once it opens.
