Hi,
I figured the util-linux discussion might get lost on the mailing list,
so I'm following up with a bug report. Please don't take it as pestering
you.
Reference:
https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2025/03/msg00500.html
(start: https://lists.debian.org/debian-release/2025/02/msg00439.html )
As stated in the initial email, I'd like to put util-linux 2.41 into
trixie. Upstream hurried up with their original plans to make this
possible.
2.41~rc1 and rc2 were in experimental already for a while, and 2.41 is
also in experimental already for a few days.
JFTR: there is -no- soname bump.
Please let me know if you agree. If so I expect the next Debian version
would be 2.41-3 and target unstable.
Thanks,
Chris
