Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal X-Debbugs-Cc: varnish@packages.debian.org Control: affects -1 + src:varnish User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: transition As usual, Varnish breaks its plugin ABI. I recently started maintaining it and I am trying to do a proper transition. 7.6.1 is in experimental. It has been built with no regressions. All reverse dependencies have been rebuilt successfully (https://salsa.debian.org/varnish-team/varnish/-/pipelines/768185), except for varnish-re2 which needs a trivial fix, for which I have opened #1088202. Please provide a transition slot. After the 7.6.1 upload then binNMU everything but varnish-re2. Ben file: title = "varnish"; is_affected = .depends ~ "libvarnishapi3" | .depends ~ /^varnishabi-/; is_good = .depends ~ "libvarnishapi3" >= "7.6.1" | .depends ~ /^varnishabi-20\.1$/; is_bad = .depends ~ "libvarnishapi3" < "7.6.1" | .depends ~ /^varnishabi-20\.0$/; This is my first attempt at a Ben file, so please double check that it is correct. Due to a bug in dh_varnishabi some packages are currently missing the varnishabi- dependency: it will be added automatically with these rebuilds. -- ciao, MarcoAttachment: signature.asc
