According to Aurelien Jarno, currently it works on buildds with 4K pages because the memory can be fragmented before reaching the 2GB limit, but it's very fragile and will break soon on the other buildds. I can try to find other solutions (like playing with jumbo builds, or disabling some functionality on mipsel to reduce the amount of linked code), but given that mipsel will likely stop being a release architecture, I'm not sure it's worth investing time into it. So I will probably drop support for mipsel sooner or later. -- Dmitry Shachnev
