Bug#1041272: transmission-daemon: Crashes every few hours, SEGV on systemctl error message

Package: transmission-daemon
Followup-For: Bug #1041272
X-Debbugs-Cc: pkreuzt@gmail.com

Don't know if this is related to the new patch or some other issue on my side, since this machine had some stability problemas a while ago. Please note I'm on ARM64, in case that could affect the results. Before trying the proposed update, I was running a self-packaged .deb with proposed patch on former issue and didn't have this problem. This is the output of systemctl status:

    Process: 22391 ExecStart=/usr/bin/transmission-daemon -f --log-error (code=killed, signal=SEGV)
   Main PID: 22391 (code=killed, signal=SEGV)
Status: "Uploading 326.72 KBps, Downloading 158.81 KBps."
        CPU: 3h 13min 54.061s
