We'd like to get Perl 5.36 in bookworm. Filing this to get it on the
radar properly, but I'd like to do a few more checks first. So tagging
'moreinfo' for now. I'll remove that when I'm done with the checks,
hopefully in a couple of weeks at the latest.

That was a bit optimistic (no real problems, I just couldn't find the
time), but I think we're ready now.

I've just test rebuilt the packages needing a binNMU one more time, and
the only one failing in testing is redland-bindings (#1021324, should be
trivial to fix.) I'm marking that as a blocker, but I haven't checked
if it could be removed easily if necessary.

#1019757 is still open but I've worked around the one autopkgtest
regression that it triggered. I don't think it should be a blocker for
the transition. I'm not aware of any other autopkgtest regressions
(but I've only tested on amd64.)

Hope this addresses any concerns you might have. Please let us know
when there is a free transition window. An advance notice of a few days
would be appreciated.

Thanks for your work as always,

That looks good. Please go ahead.

Cheers,
Emilio
