Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal Tags: bullseye User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: pu New upstream version 25.3.34 includes multiple bug fixes, see https://github.com/codership/documentation/blob/master/release-notes/release-notes-galera-25.3.34.txt Getting the latest version to Bullseye is important as the upstream bugs might cause data loss or data to drift in the Galera cluster. This also introduces the changes and bugfixes done in upstream 23.3.33, which includes using CMake for building the package. This change has been in Debian and Ubuntu since May 2021 with zero reported bugs, so we deem it safe for a stable update at this point. In general the quality of this package is very good, thanks to extensive use of Salsa-CI and aggressive bug fixing (package has currently zero open bugs). Changelog: galera-3 (25.3.34-0+deb11u1) bullseye; urgency=medium * New upstream version 25.3.34. Includes multiple bug fixes, see https://github.com/codership/documentation/blob/master/release-notes/release-notes-galera-25.3.34.txt * Restore CK_TIMEOUT_MULTIPLIER in debian/rules to avoid having various slow builds and CI runs fail in vain * Includes new upstream version 25.3.33 which necessitates to follow upstream change and switch from SCons to CMake, otherwise building from sources would fail * Remove patches applied upstream or obsoleted by SCons->CMake change * Add Lintian overrides for libgalera_smm.so that are intentional -- Otto Kekäläinen <otto@debian.org> Sun, 29 Aug 2021 19:44:53 -0700 Full debdiff attached.
