Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock Please unblock package libgee-0.8 [ Reason ] libgee-0.8/0.20.3-1 in testing currently FTBFS against the current valac (#988020) [ Impact ] libgee-0.8 is not able to be updated in testing [ Tests ] libgee-0.8 has no autopkgtests, but a test suite is run during the build [ Risks ] Low, the changes in upstream 0.20.4 seem to be documentation fixes and compatibility with the new valac only. 0.20.4-1 has been in unstable for 3 months, and was part of the Ubuntu 21.04 release with no new bugs filed. [ Checklist ] [ ] all changes are documented in the d/changelog [x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them [ ] attach debdiff against the package in testing [ Other info ] The debdiff is very large and contains numerous generated .c files. As can be seen in upstream's recent commits [1], the only changes since 0.20.3 were: * Various English and typo fixes in the documentation [2] * Replace Memory.dup() with GLib.malloc() and Memory.copy() [3] * Remove invalid usage of type-argument for Gee.Future.SourceFuncArrayElement [4] * Release 0.20.4 [5] [1] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgee/-/commits/master [2] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgee/-/commit/8b76b8cd0d1dafcf0a48048e6742a34d2c5e15c2 [3] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgee/-/commit/63d2b88e2652606b0571ff94c620949a6969b1fb [4] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgee/-/commit/2ba2faf0140fdc0428a9b6b92669aa2daa9fc98c [5] https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/libgee/-/commit/db2efd468d32832ed787165ddda555706d888aca
