Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock X-Debbugs-Cc: Craig Small <csmall@debian.org> Please unblock package apt-listchanges [ Reason ] Before the last upload (and orphaning) the english man page was altered. This upload *only* updates two translations (Portuguese and German). It is a pure l10n upload only. [ Impact ] Portuguese and German speaking uses will see some strings in the man page in English instead of Protuguese and German, respectively. [ Tests ] No. However, the build log clearly shows that the man page is build and installed fine. [ Risks ] The code is unchanged. In case there is a problem with the modified files, users are either dropped back to english automatically (i.e. the same as now) or can do so manually. Users of other locales are not affected by this change at all. [ Checklist ] [x] all changes are documented in the d/changelog [x] I reviewed all changes and I approve them [ ] attach debdiff against the package in testing root@samd:/tmp# debdiff --control --no-diffstat apt-listchanges_3.24_all.deb apt-listchanges_3.23_all.deb File lists identical (after any substitutions) Control files: lines which differ (wdiff format) ------------------------------------------------ Installed-Size: [-423-] {+424+} Version: [-3.24-] {+3.23+} root@samd:/tmp# debdiff --control --no-diffstat apt-listchanges_3.23_amd64.changes apt-listchanges_3.24_amd64.changes File lists identical (after any substitutions) Control files: lines which differ (wdiff format) ------------------------------------------------ Installed-Size: [-424-] {+423+} Version: [-3.23-] {+3.24+} There is no .dsc file to compare the contents with debdiff. The new changelog entry is: apt-listchanges (3.24) unstable; urgency=medium * QA upload * Update Portuguese man page translation (closes: #982824). Thanks Américo Monteiro. * Update German man page translation (closes: #982637). Thanks Helge Kreutzmann. -- Helge Kreutzmann <debian@helgefjell.de> Sun, 28 Mar 2021 13:06:44 +0200 And only the de.po and pt.po are updated (besides this changelog entry) [ Other info ] My sponsor properly include the code in the salsa repository so that future maintainers can easily pick them up. unblock apt-listchanges/3.24 -- Dr. Helge Kreutzmann debian@helgefjell.de Dipl.-Phys. http://www.helgefjell.de/debian.php 64bit GNU powered gpg signed mail preferred Help keep free software "libre": http://www.ffii.de/Attachment: signature.asc
