Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: unblock Please unblock package xdffileio [ Reason ] xdffileio 0.3-3 in Testing is affected by #985290, which is fixed by version 0.3-4 in Sid. [ Impact ] Removal of xdffileio from Testing would reduce functionalities of eegdev libraries by rendering the eegdev-plugins-free package uninstallable in Bullseye. [ Tests ] I ran passes of piuparts against all binary packages of xdffileio in order to make sure the package upgrades properly from Buster version 0.3-2.1, and upgrades properly from Testing version 0.3-3. The package went through the recommended Salsa CI pipeline successfully. [ Risks ] The change fixing upgrade issues seems minor to me. The only reverse dependency, eegdev-plugin-free, depends on libxdffileio0 which should not be affected by the change. [ Checklist ] [*] all changes are documented in the d/changelog [*] I reviewed all changes and I approve them [*] attach debdiff against the package in testing [ Other info ] No peculiarities were noted. unblock xdffileio/0.3-4 Have a nice day, :) -- Étienne Mollier <etienne.mollier@mailoo.org> Fingerprint: 8f91 b227 c7d6 f2b1 948c 8236 793c f67e 8f0d 11da Sent from /dev/pts/7, please excuse my verbosity.diff -Nru xdffileio-0.3/debian/changelog xdffileio-0.3/debian/changelog --- xdffileio-0.3/debian/changelog 2020-12-19 19:14:04.000000000 +0100 +++ xdffileio-0.3/debian/changelog 2021-03-17 13:51:56.000000000 +0100 @@ -1,3 +1,12 @@ +xdffileio (0.3-4) unstable; urgency=medium + + * Team upload. + * Add d/libxdffileio-dev.maintscript to move /usr/share/doc/libxdffileio-dev + from symbolic link toward libxdffileio0, to a separate directory. + Closes: #985290 + + -- Étienne Mollier <etienne.mollier@mailoo.org> Wed, 17 Mar 2021 13:51:56 +0100 + xdffileio (0.3-3) unstable; urgency=medium [ Andreas Tille ] diff -Nru xdffileio-0.3/debian/libxdffileio-dev.maintscript xdffileio-0.3/debian/libxdffileio-dev.maintscript --- xdffileio-0.3/debian/libxdffileio-dev.maintscript 1970-01-01 01:00:00.000000000 +0100 +++ xdffileio-0.3/debian/libxdffileio-dev.maintscript 2021-03-17 13:51:53.000000000 +0100 @@ -0,0 +1 @@ +symlink_to_dir /usr/share/doc/libxdffileio-dev libxdffileio0 0.3-4~Attachment: signature.asc
