I tested briefly with gimp and some sample WMF files (from
https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/openspecs/windows_protocols/ms-wmf/2a2175b7-987e-4ff1-87fd-bf0573c72035
and https://www.armsandbadges.com/sample.htm), and it seems to work,
although I'm sure someone who knows more about WMF could test more
thoroughly.
