Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: binnmu Hi, please binNMU isc-dhcp in unstable. isc-dhcp has historically been patched to built against the internal ISC libraries built by src:bind9 9.11 via libbind-export-dev, instead of using the embedded copy in the isc-dhcp source tree. The bind9 version now in unstable (9.16) does not provide these libraries anymore. A bug had been filed on isc-dhcp (#942502) to switch to the internal copy, but nothing had happened. isc-dhcp is now blocking the bind9 migration to testing. To resolve the situation Ondrej has created src:bind9-libs which stays at 9.11 and took over the packages necessary to build isc-dhcp. A simple NMU of src:isc-dhcp should be enough to use the new package and unentangle them for good. The RC bug #954736 should also be resolved with this binNMU. nmu isc-dhcp_4.4.1-2.1 . ANY . unstable . -m "Rebuild against src:bind9-libs"

ANY . unstable . -m "Rebuild against src:bind9-libs" Scheduled on mips64el and mipsel. On all other architectures isc-dhcp is already built against bind9-libs and the binNMUs are waiting for bind9-libs to migrate. Cheers -- Sebastian RamacherAttachment: signature.asc
