As soon as you're happy with the state of the hdf5 transition, I'd
like to proceed with the petsc 3.10 transition.
All rdependencies build fine, except deal.ii, which needs an upgrade
(or patch) for petsc 3.10. I've filed bug#915703 for it.
The slepc 3.10 transition is part of this transition.
