The point-release-mail script currently uses its own templating system
that I wrote for it. While that was an interesting learning exercise,
the implementation has a number of drawbacks and we should look at
replacing it with an existing templating system that we don't have to
maintain.

The script now has support for Jinja2 templates, in addition to the
built-in templating system.
