Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal Tags: jessie User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: pu Hi, while doing the last big round of nvidia driver updates for (old-)stable I also prepared this legacy-304xx update for jessie, but then forgot to file a bug and upload it. It's a new (and final) upstream version from the 304.xx legacy branch, we already got this into stretch in the last point release. It it not a simple rebuild of the stretch package since there are too many inappropriate changes between jessie and stretch. It comes with a new NEWS entry reporting the upstream End-of-Life status of this legacy series. And then there is a collection of cherry-picked changes and bugfixes, which are already available in sid, stretch, jessie-backports for a long time without any problematic reports. A notable change is the TLS fix where we no longer ship the legacy-tls variant (for 2.x kernels) as an alternative (a change we also made in nvidia-graphics-drivers{,-legacy-*}/stretch and in nvidia-graphics-drivers/jessie). I hope this can still make it into the last jessie point release. AndreasAttachment: ngd-304xx-304.137-0~deb8u1.diff.gz
