Please remove the recent non-maintainer upload from me of ksh with the
version 93u+20120801-3.1 . It has the wrong version number since the
last released version was 93u+20120801-2.

As soon as this version is removed I'll do a NMU with version -2.1

Thanks

The Release Team can only remove packages from testing, whereas this would need to be actioned in unstable, which would be the FTP Team's territory.

In practical terms, however, removing a package from the archive in order to replace it with an upload of the same package is redundant and confusing - simply upload the new version.

As soon as this version is removed I'll do a NMU with version -2.1

You can't make version numbers of published packages go backwards, so that would either need an epoch or a "really"-style version number.

I'm therefore closing this report as there's nothing that can be done without a new upload.

Adam
