Package: release.debian.org Severity: normal User: release.debian.org@packages.debian.org Usertags: rm Hi, onionshare is marked for autoremoval on 22 June 2017: 861744" because of it's dependency on torbrowser-launcher. This is correct and wanted. However, it looks like Stretch might already be out at that date. So I'm hereby asking you to remove the package from testing manually, in order to be sure that it won't be part of Stretch. I've already uploaded a newer version of onionshare (0.9.2-1) (and moved it from contrib to main, with the torbrowser-launcher dependency removed). This package is currently in NEW. It could be part of Stretch, but we'd rather concentrate our efforts on having this function well in Buster and stretch-backports. I'm simply writing this here in case you stumble on this second version and wonder what's going on.. If this newer version has not gone through NEW yet, please simply remove onionshare from Stretch. Thanks & cheers, Ulrike -- System Information: Debian Release: 8.7 APT prefers stable-updates APT policy: (500, 'stable-updates'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 3.16.0-4-amd64 (SMP w/4 CPU cores) Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=de_DE.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/dash Init: systemd (via /run/systemd/system)
