Please unblock package linux

This includes many important bug fixes, including security fixes, and
new hardware support.  It disables the TIMER_STATS feature, which is
being removed in Linux 4.11 and would not be supportable in stretch.
There also a couple of changes to the Debian-specific test-patches
script, which should make it easier for users to test proposed bug
fixes.

The debdiff would be too large for you to review, unfortunately.
