Package: ftp.debian.org
Severity: normal

For whatever reason, nvidia-settings has its source package
listed in both main and contrib, breaking the archive tools
(see #824169 for the similar problem in chocolate-doom) and
is therefore blocked from migrating to testing.

nvidia-settings | 375.26-1 | unstable | source
nvidia-settings | 375.26-1 | unstable-debug/contrib | source
nvidia-settings | 375.26-2 | buildd-unstable | source
nvidia-settings | 375.26-2 | unstable | source
nvidia-settings | 375.26-2 | unstable-debug/contrib | source

I will upload a new version that does no longer build
the nvidia-settings-dbgsym/contrib binary package, which
should hopefully fix this issue. (Something similar seems
to work for boinc, which builds binary packages in both
main and contrib, but -dbgsym packages only in main.)

Since switching the archive area of packages usually is a bit
complictated, I'll wait for the "conflicting" source package
to be removed first.

Thanks

Andreas

Looks like nvidia-settings/375.26-3 is already in testing:

"""
$ dak ls nvidia-settings -s testing
nvidia-settings | 375.26-3 | testing | source
nvidia-settings | 375.26-3 | testing/contrib | amd64, armhf, i386
"""

Assuming this is done.

Thanks,
~Niels
