"problematic" is putting it nicely.  I don't think we're ready to accept
a complete rewrite as a stable update, sorry.

It's not a rewrite - the changes are not as extensive as the patch makes them look. The main script had a name change that git didn't catch.

Moving on, this leaves stable with a totally broken package. I'd like to resolve that. Can we remove gnome-gmail from stable, without affecting the status in testing or sid?
