Hi,

we would like to transition to fplll 5.0.2. The package has been in
experimental for a while. The package has just two reverse dependencies
(according to dak on mirror.ftp-master.debian.org): gap-float and sollya.

The maintainer of both reverse dependencies, Jerome Benoit is interested
in getting this transition done. He already uploaded an update to
gap-float (0.7.4+ds-2) that works with fplll 5 to experimental. He also
works with the sollya team to get this to work. They promised that they
release a new sollya release compatible with fplll 5 next week. If this
doesn't happen for some reason, Jerome can apply the existing relevant
upstream commits to the current sollya version.

Please let us know if we can upload fplll 5 to unstable.

Thanks,
Tobias

Ben file:

title = "fplll";
is_affected = .depends ~ "libfplll0" | .depends ~ "libfplll2";
is_good = .depends ~ "libfplll2";
is_bad = .depends ~ "libfplll0";

Best,
Tobias
