Hi,
packages that currently FTBFS will be removed from testing in 2 weeks.
The freeze deadline for re-entry is January 5th. With the migration
delay the fixed package should be uploaded until the end of December,
where may people will be on holiday I guess (both Debian and Upstream
developers).
So I think it's desirable for many maintainers to have a fixed package
in Sid before Christmas or they will have to ask for a freeze
exception. I'd be glad if this is announced more prominent, e.g on the
debian-devel-announce mailing list.
Regards,
Tino
