Small update here: syncevolution currently FTBFS because of libical (#824426), once that bug is fixed the package might be binNMUable. Besides syncevolution the only package needing a sourceful upload is evolution. I've prepared that upload in experimental and the package has been built everywhere successfully. So we should be good to go and this looks like a rather painless transition.
