This is #803158, moving giflib to 5.1.1. Done as a NMU, I didn't get feedback from the maintainer.

The library package changes from libgif4 to libgif7. Packages which need sourceful uploads (all with patches) are:

https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/pkgreport.cgi?tag=giflib5;users=giflib@packages.debian.org

Not all of these are ready to support both versions of giflib, so these should be uploaded after giflib 5 hits unstable.

All other packages should be binNMUable. One outstanding issue is #803298. The build system appears to clean the build files, and then doesn't know what to do. Help would be appreciated.

This has been blocked on openjdk-7 for quite a while, but that got removed from
testing and this is finally over.

Cheers,
